Driftwood

"Racist Bar located in Huntington Beach 🚨 Stay Away from Driftwood(s)⚠️ I’m a Huntington Beach resident, and tonight I had one of the most humiliating experiences I’ve ever had at a bar. 😱 I walked into Driftwood(s) (204 Adams Ave #A, Huntington Beach) planning to grab a beer. Before I even had a chance to order, I headed toward the restroom — and a waitress stopped me to ask if I was “going to buy something first,” basically implying I couldn’t use the restroom unless I paid upfront. 🚫🚻 I’ve been here before with friends and never had an issue… but coming in alone, I was singled out and embarrassed in front of other people. As a Black man in Huntington Beach, that kind of treatment hits differently. It felt like I was being treated as suspicious just for walking in. 🤨➡️😡 At the very least, the staff needs serious training on basic respect and how to treat customers equally. 👎 ✅ I won’t be back. ⚠️ If you’re a minority, do yourself a favor and avoid this place."
