"Without a doubt the best dive bar in OC. They have a rare mix of tourists and locals, weird to see at a bar on the boardwalk. The pool tables were surprisingly level and in pretty good shape, considering the rest of the environment. Drinks are also very cheap for the area. Parking is non-existent on weekends so our policy is to have a drink at Billy's, valet there, then Uber over to the peninsula. Blackies is dirty, loud and sticky, my kinda place."
"Great atmosphere, cold drinks, and a really unique vibe! The bar is full of character, with interesting patches and memorabilia everywhere you look. Service was friendly, the beer was ice cold, and it was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m in the area. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink and soaking in the atmosphere🍺"
"I really did like that egg."
