"My boyfriend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch on May 23, 2026. The food, the service and the ambiance was great!! And very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be going back for another meal and fun. We had the Ahi burger with choice of a side, the prime rib sandwich with aujou sauce and horse radish on the side and a choice of a side. And a nice choice of deserts. I’ve been told by a friend that the happy hour is really good. Try this place out!"

"My wife and I had a very tough week and we're escaping to the coast for a 24-hour respite. As we drove she searched for a place to enjoy a good steak and drinks without climbing beyond our budget. We weren't looking for intense romance and fine dress, nor did we want a biker bar. Frustrated by the search and running out of freeway, we asked a local friend for her recommendation. It came in minutes and she had only one name--The Alley, a "very old-guard restaurant...It is just a local place. Been there forever." We waited 5 minutes on a Friday at 6:45 (it packed out shortly thereafter) and got to the table. Drinks in hand, we started with a grilled artichoke and then enjoyed New York strips and orange dill-glazed salmon plates. The server smiled incessantly and seemed ever-present in a good way! Just what we needed. Unpretentious and comfortable, it was loud, but that was because people were having a great time. Give it a try!"
