"Singularly unimpressed by the chicken, which seems to be the raison d'etre for Zuni Cafe. Ours was dry and overcooked. Caesar salad and shoestring potatoes were excellent, though. What bothered me most was, after automatically applying a 20% tip to the full cost of the meal, including all the taxes and mandated SF fees, for our party of four, the staff stamped in red a place to add an "additional tip". Give me a break."
"Food was delicious except 2 things: our red wine was served cold (like it was straight from the refrigerator) and my grilled shrimp still had the shell on. For a restaurant of this caliber, I thought they would at least remove it for me."
"The chicken is what brings us back, year after year."
