Wagyu House Chicago

"Must visit if you are in the south loop area."

"Delicious and fun dining experience. Good halal options with the Australian Wagyu. Friendly and kind service. Enjoy!"

"Food quality was excellent and the Wagyu was delicious. The meat quality was exactly what we were hoping for, and I have no complaints about the food itself. Unfortunately, the service was by far the worst restaurant service I have ever experienced. The restaurant has a 90-minute dining limit, which is understandable. However, the biggest issue was that servers only seemed to come by every 15–20 minutes to take orders. We spent a significant portion of our dining time simply waiting for someone to come to our table. When you only have 90 minutes to eat, losing so much time waiting to place orders is extremely frustrating. Service throughout the meal was consistently slow. Items we requested either took a very long time to arrive or were forgotten entirely. For example, I ordered ice cream for dessert and waited over 30 minutes before receiving it. Instead of serving it properly, staff appeared more interested in giving it to us in a to-go cup so they could get us out of the restaurant. Near the end of our reservation, staff announced a last call, so we placed a larger final order. Before much of that order had even arrived, a tall bald staff member came to our table and rudely told us we needed to finish up and leave because another reservation was waiting. It was frustrating to be rushed out when the delays throughout the evening were caused by the restaurant’s own slow service. What made the experience even worse was that our table spent well over $1,000 during the evening, yet we were treated as though we were being pushed out as quickly as possible rather than valued customers. To make matters worse, we were also charged for additional people who were not part of our reservation. We had to question charges that should never have appeared on the bill in the first place. The food was great, but the service was so poor that it completely overshadowed the meal. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning."
