Village Pub & Poker

"Waited 30+ minutes for 2 orders of fish n chips. Then the orders came and had barely any chips, what a joke."

"I met my Grandson and his girlfriend for a reunion after 6 years and to celebrate his 18th Birthday on Thursday night February 6, 2026 . I haven’t been to that location since 2018 the remodel and atmosphere was Wonderful. At first we met at the Bermuda Location which come to find out has no separate dining area so no one Uber 21 Allowed. They should explain this information online. So unfortunately a Rocky start of the evening. I don’t know how their meal was but they ate it all. He ordered the Shepards Pie and she got the Chicken Pot pie which was quite the beautiful presentation. Waitress was very nice and respectful . I usually get the Fish n Chips being a Carnivore I ordered the Top Sirloin, Medium Rare and it came with Garlic Green Beans and Garlic Mashed. After “trying” to cut ( using the steak knife provided) the lukewarm overcooked , dry, grisly, unseasoned piece of meat… I ate none of it as well as the sides after one bite . The dinner salad with blue cheese dressing that also came with the meal was Really Good. The dressing tasted homemade and the greens were perfectly crunchy and chilled. I was so grateful that I at least had the salad to eat. The green beans were a generous portion , great presentation but the Bean inside was very large and hard which is a sign of age. I know cuz I buy them regularly and have kept them too long in my refrigerator and this is the result. The garlic mashed was about 1/2 a scoop , big chunks of dry potatoes . No taste, no Garlic the worst I ever had. Since this was a special occasion not wanting my dinner guests to think ill of me I said Nothing. If I had been alone or with a familiar friend believe you me I would have sent my Entree back to the kitchen 💯‼️Not wanting to make a public statement by just leaving the meal for the waitress to see I requested a to go box packed up my entire entree to take home to my little dogs, had to use my sharpest knife to cut this in small pieces so my dogs wouldn’t choke on the 10oz of Gristle .My only resolve is giving a complete review here, which I hope Management Sees this Review. I’m still quite shocked 😳 about how terrible this was. If I patronize The Village Pub ever again I will be ordering the Fish n Chips as well as a Dinner Salad with the Yummy Blue Cheese just in case. With the economy so bad and growing worse one would think with all the Abundance culinary choices we are blessed to have here in Our City these Restaurants need to do better. Abundant Blessings to Everyone be Grateful and Kind."

"Not a good place since they unlawfully fired the best bartender in Vegas."
