I’m vegetarian, and Mexican and Indian are my second and third favorite foods in the world (Italian is always numero uno), but Indian and Mexican compete for number two, and bounce back-and-forth. I love both. Salsa with cumin, Paneer Quesadillas, fresh raw veges. !Gigante Jalapeno Margaritas con tajin! Me recomienda!"

"Predicting this place goes out of business soon. First of all, the prices are astoundingly high, you'd think you are in a swanky DC club for these prices. I ordered a 22oz Modelo Especial draft ($12), but was served something else (watery tasting light beer), when I complained someone appearing as perhaps management came and went to change my beer. He returned to the table and very dramatically poured a 12oz Modelo from a bottle into a smaller glass and expected us to accept it ($12 for one 12oz bottle of Modelo?). We had ordered food but decided to leave because of the gentlemen's strange demeanor, he acted as though he took the complaint personally. They also required we open a tab for the one beer even though we had ordered fajitas. Very strange, as if the bar isn't part of the same restaurant in the same location. Whoever runs this place needs to learn how to run a business properly and provide real customer service. Don't try to pass off watery light beer as Modelo, and certainly don't try to be sly and cheap thinking half of the serving makes up for the mistake. By the way, some real creepy looking "security guards" outside with masks over their faces and bullet proof vests on...does not give an inviting feeling when you go into a place, should have turned around as soon as we saw that. This place is supposedly a restaurant, but feels like a wanna-a-be nightclub in suburbia complete with thugs at the door."

"I recently visited Uncle Jalapeño in Herndon and had a wonderful dining experience! The food was delicious, the ambiance was welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. Overall, a great place to enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!"
