"The name is accurate. Good Island food. The miso butterfish was tasty and so was the seared ahi salad. The poke trio appetizer was the best thing we had. Our waitress was attentive. I would go back. Aloha."

Fried waitress didn’t come back until the end of the meal, then gave us to-go boxes that were too small for our meals. We had to ask another waitress for refills. Only eat here if you like waiting long periods of time for okay food."

"We visited Uahi Island Grill and overall had a pleasant dining experience. We ordered the Triple Surf Combo, Red Curry Grilled Fish with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Furikake Calamari, and two Mai Tais. The presentation of the food was beautiful, and while the portions were reasonable, they weren’t particularly large. The Furikake Calamari was crispy, flavorful, and paired nicely with both dipping sauces. For the Triple Surf Combo, I chose the poke topped with dried cod. As a Korean who grew up eating a wide variety of seafood, I found this combination surprisingly unique. The dried cod added a savory flavor and interesting texture that worked very well with the poke. It was definitely the most memorable dish of the night. The Red Curry Grilled Fish was decent, but the fish itself was a little dry. The curry sauce, however, was rich and flavorful and helped bring the dish together. The garlic mashed potatoes were also very good. The Mai Tai was much stronger than expected. It packed quite a punch, and I actually asked for extra juice to mellow it out before I could fully enjoy it. If you enjoy a strong cocktail, this may be right up your alley. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. While a few dishes could have been better, I appreciated the unique flavors and creativity on the menu. Overall, a solid dining experience and a place I’d consider visiting again. 최근에 Uahi Island Grill에 다녀왔는데 전반적으로 만족스러운 식사였습니다. 저희는 Triple Surf Combo, Red Curry Grilled Fish (Garlic Mashed Potatoes 추가), Furikake Calamari, 그리고 Mai Tai 두 잔을 주문했습니다. 음식 플레이팅은 예뻤고 양은 적지도 많지도 않은 보통 수준이었습니다. Furikake Calamari는 바삭하고 맛있었으며 두 가지 소스와 잘 어울렸습니다. Triple Surf Combo에서는 대구포가 들어간 포케를 선택했는데, 한국 사람인 저에게도 굉장히 독특한 메뉴였습니다. 해산물을 많이 접해봤지만 대구포와 포케의 조합은 처음이었고, 감칠맛과 식감이 의외로 잘 어울렸습니다. 이날 먹은 음식 중 가장 기억에 남는 메뉴였습니다. Red Curry Grilled Fish는 커리 소스는 정말 맛있었지만 생선 자체는 조금 건조한 편이었습니다. 다행히 진한 레드 커리 소스가 전체적인 맛을 잘 잡아주었고, 갈릭 매시드 포테이토도 만족스러웠습니다. Mai Tai는 생각보다 상당히 독했습니다. 술맛이 강해서 저희는 주스를 조금 더 요청해서 섞어 마셨습니다. 강한 칵테일을 좋아하는 분들에게는 오히려 장점이 될 수도 있을 것 같습니다. 직원들은 친절했고 분위기도 편안했습니다. 몇몇 메뉴는 기대에 조금 못 미쳤지만, 다른 곳에서는 쉽게 볼 수 없는 독특한 조합의 음식들을 맛볼 수 있었고 전반적으로 즐거운 식사였습니다. 그래서 5점보다는 4점이 적당하다고 생각하지만, 기회가 된다면 다시 방문해서 다른 메뉴도 먹어보고 싶습니다. 🌺🍹🐟🦑"
