"I have been to this bar multiple times and previously had good experiences, which is exactly why I chose it for my birthday tonight. Unfortunately, what should have been a celebratory evening with my son and his girlfriend turned into one of the most blatantly rude and unprofessional service experiences I’ve had in a decade. Drinks are good, this review is solely regarding poor service and unprofessionalism of bartenders. At first, the bartenders working were friendly enough and we each ordered one craft cocktail. We were enjoying ourselves, being polite, relaxed, and patient. As the bar became busier and certain patrons started buying the bartenders drinks and shots, the service toward us completely disappeared. To be very clear: we were not drunk, disruptive, or behaving inappropriately in any way. We each had a shot, one craft cocktail, and another shot throughout the evening. We were seated directly at the bar, calm and respectful the entire time. My son had difficulty getting the bartenders’ attention for the last drink, but I was eventually able to get her attention and order. However, after that last round, we were repeatedly ignored for 15–20 minutes with no service, despite being seated at the bar. Our empty glasses had already been cleared by the bar back, who was actually doing an excellent job all night. Meanwhile, other customers who arrived after we’d requested service were being served. At one point, a gentleman sitting nearby offered to buy me a drink and attempted to get the bartender’s attention for us. Her response was to snap, “You need to wait. Like at least five minutes,” while putting her hand up. Ten minutes passed after that while she continued serving and socializing with everyone else around us. What stood out most was that it truly seemed to be only our group being ignored. After telling the gentleman to wait, she came back and took another group’s order and immediately brought them drinks. The same gentleman who had tried to buy me a drink finally looked over and said, “At this point, they’re just being rude.” Even someone outside of our group could clearly see what was happening, but I still tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. The final straw was when one of the bartenders stood directly in front of me at the computer terminal. I politely said, “Hi, I know you’re busy, but when you get a chance can we order drinks?” She did not acknowledge me whatsoever. No eye contact, no “I’ll be right with you,” nothing. She finished what she was doing, turned, and walked away as if I had said absolutely nothing. I turned to my son and his girlfriend, they were visibly upset. At that point I stood up and said, “They can’t hold us hostage to close out. I want to leave.” That was the only thing that finally got someone to come over to us. What made this especially frustrating was watching the bartenders repeatedly stop to take at least three shots and “vibe” with select customers while we sat there unable to even order a drink. Apparently there was plenty of time for partying, just not for customers who weren’t buying staff drinks for attention. And yes, maybe they wanted to have fun during Pride weekend. So did we. That is literally why we were there. When the bartender finally came over, she casually said, “Sorry, we were vibing and singing and having fun!” I responded, “Yes, we were trying to as well…” To top it off, when my son left a small tip to reflect the poor service, one of the bartenders actually BOOED him out loud. Like we were somehow the problem for being frustrated after being ignored for all that time. I said, “Yes I feel exactly the same about the service.” The cocktails here are good, but the service from the two women bartenders working on 5/17/26 was cliquey, dismissive, and incredibly unprofessional. We left at 11:30pm. We came in excited to celebrate a birthday during Pride weekend and instead left feeling rejected, ignored, and openly disrespected. I genuinely did not realize buying bartenders shots was the requirement to receive basic service."
