"This was our first time going and it was worth it! Memorial Day was Buy 2 get 1 free Explorer Passes and Kama’aina discount it made it even more worth it! If you have kids, this is definitely a place to go at least once! We didn’t think we would have as much fun as we did. My other half actually likes this place more than the water park. If we return we wouldn’t do the explorer pass again, just the aquaventure and peaks pass. I would recommend going from the time they open, but if you arrive early, as early as 9am - you can check in ahead of time and snag seats for your group. They offer lockers $5 ($10 upfront - $5 refund upon return of the keys) and they also offer a nicer locker room/changing room for $20. But you honestly don’t need it. They have showers and changing tents located on the side of their coffee bar. It’s easy to miss, but it’s there. We also just left our things near our seats and it was safe even when we were all in the water. They have a good variety of Food to choose from. Prices are normal, it’s not overly expensive like the water park. Alcoholic beverages aren’t the greatest down near the water - we recommend drinkers to enjoy drinks up at The Lookout Restaurant areas near the surf experience. The water is another story however. Not the biggest fan per se; only because I’m not sure how they treat it. Our kids didn’t like the algae on the steps of the floats and at the time they didn’t care much about the water but after we left, my son said he didn’t want to go back because the water was dirty. As locals we’re just not used to swimming in Fresh Water environments. But I would still return."

"The kids loved this!! We did a half day (130-430) plenty of time to give the kids some fun in the sun! The staff was all amazing and super friendly! If we are back in Hawaii, we will definitely be going back here!"
