The Hawk

"It's a shame this is such a nice bar, there's just one problem, there's a security person here that ruins the whole experience. Whenever I go to this bar, he would always creepily look at me and watch over me with like 75% of his attention. He would also aggressively push me to "buy drinks". Whenever a bartender asks me to buy a drink, I do. When he asks me, it always comes across as creepy and uncomfortable. If he did the stuff he does to me to a female regular, he'd at the very least get fired and probably blacklisted from security gigs, but because "I'm a man" it's okay for him to treat me that way I guess? What's even scarier is he has to sit down most of the time because the nerves in one of his legs are dying and he wears a cast on that leg. If there's a fight in this bar, I do not trust that this guy is going to be able to defend himself or anyone else with a bad leg. I've also heard from a close friend that the same security guard tried to steal his car keys from my friend because he was drunk. Dude, you're a security guard, not a cop. This guy should be collecting disability checks and doing a job where you sit down all day, not working security at a bar. What sucks is this guy works most nights EXCEPT FOR Tuesday nights. If you see this guy doing security, do yourself a favor and head East on Anaheim street to the Grasshopper."

"This bartender killed my vibe by telling me people other people wanted to play and had bought drinks so they would be putting quarters on the table to go next. She claims it was to be nice, but she knows I go there a lot, so I know how it works when people want to play next. She used the opportunity to insinuate I was taking over the table. I bought a coke. I am 5 years sober so to be treated unfair for not be I mg an alcoholic is not a good feeling. I have given her tips in the past. Once I gave her 5 dollars for no reason, just because it looked slow. I send lots of customers her way all the time. I play pool and I promote their bar all the time. I'm a local. Devin(a lady bartender) really isn't as nice as she thinks."
