"⚠️ PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK A ROOM AT THE DELPHI HOTEL! ⚠️ I rarely leave reviews, but what happened during my stay was so outrageous that I feel obligated to warn others. My stay started with me getting trapped in one of the hotel’s elevators for nearly 20 minutes! Not five minutes. Not long enough to be annoyed. Nearly 20 minutes. I sat there pressing button after button trying to get a response. Eventually, after what felt like forever, I managed to get the elevator moving and get myself out. I was shaken up, frustrated, and figured there was no way the trip could get any worse. I was wrong. Later that night, I got back to my room after a long day and climbed into bed. The second I pulled the sheets back, I noticed they felt wet. I tried to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe the sheets hadn’t been completely dried during laundering. Then I laid down. Immediately I was hit with one of the most disgusting smells I’ve ever encountered in a hotel room. URINE. Not a faint odor. Not a “maybe that’s what I’m smelling” odor. A powerful, rancid smell of URINE. I jumped back up, lifted the sheets, and held them up to the light. What I saw was unbelievable. The sheets weren’t slightly damp. They weren’t a little wet. They were SOAKED. The fabric was transparent from the amount of liquid that had saturated it. It had soaked completely through. By that point I had already been laying in it, and the smell was now on me. I felt sick. I immediately called the front desk. An employee came to the room, walked in, and smelled it herself. The look on her face told me everything I needed to know. She appeared just as shocked as I was. There was no explanation. There was no debate. There was just disbelief that a room in that condition had been assigned to a guest. I even asked her to smell it which she did and she was completely taken back by how foul it was. She personally walked me to another room. And after all of that, it was almost midnight now and the replacement room was significantly smaller, and faced nothing but a brick wall. Before I could even think about going to sleep, I had to take a shower because I felt absolutely disgusted after laying in that bed. Let that sink in. In a single stay, I was trapped in an elevator for nearly 20 minutes, ended up in a room with soaked, urine-smelling bedding, had the smell transferred onto me, and then got moved into a much smaller room facing a wall. How does something like this happen? To be fair, the hotel did make adjustments to my bill. But let’s be honest: there isn’t a billing adjustment in the world that makes this experience acceptable. A credit on a receipt doesn’t erase what happened. Frankly, what occurred was serious enough that writing a negative review was not the only option available to me. The only reason I’m leaving this review instead of pursuing the matter further is because I simply don’t have the time or desire to spend another minute dealing with this hotel. So I’m doing the one thing I can do: warning others. There are countless hotels in Los Angeles. Please stay somewhere else. You’ve been warned"

"Okay so parking has two options. Make sire you DONT park in the underground lot adjacent. The parking us behind the hotel. You can do valet for 50 if you need in and our or pay 40 and save 10 bucks a night."

"This is a place my nephew is staying in downtown LA for a trip. It is located in the downtown area, and he says he chose it for the interior and location rather than the exterior."
