The Country Club

"My review is long over due! I’ve been going to the Country Club for the last three years. I adore this place and personally believe they have the best HH in the OC! It’s just about the only HH that lasts up until 6:30 so I can at least grab a few drinks after leaving work at 5pm. I compare all HHs I go to to CC and they always fall short. You cannot beat their price and the quality of their drinks and meal options. Everything is delicious. The atmosphere is also great, the vibe is really nice and low key during the week. It’s a great place to take a date to make an impression without spending too much. And above all, the staff here is fantastic!! I’ve known Ashley for the last three years that me and my girlfriend from work have been coming for dinner and drinks. She always greets us and makes sure we are taken care of, her service is phenomenal. The back staff (I think his name is Fernando/Fransisco) has always been great to us too. I LOVE this place! Country Club thanks for all the great memories I have being a patron. Cannot recommend this place enough; and I talk about this place to everyone I meet and who asks for restaurant recommendations in the OC. I would love if yall had merchandise I could buy too! HH menu items I recommend: Drink: Gimlet (pretty sweet- preferred their old lemon mix but still good) Westcliff Salad Charcuterie board (used to have more items before, but still decent) Crispy Cauliflower (unreal taste, does not taste like cauliflower, so good!) Crispy Brussels Sprouts Bar Burger Mac n Cheese Smoked Brisket Tacos I was not a fan of their wings, but that’s about the only item I didn’t enjoy. Price per person is a little skewed as I tend to grab a few items for HH and 1-2 drinks regular menu on my visits. For HH you can spend less than $40 per person."

"It’s listed as a country bar on Google but this is a snobby country club place. Like Harvard country club not Tim McGraw country bar. Clearly it’s well decorated and the staff is pleasant. The food is mad expensive. Great parking though."
