Tamba Las Vegas

"This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. It is a mainstay in my rotation whenever there is someone visiting, or if someone loves Indian cuisine. Not only is the food of the highest quality, the service is unmatched. The service staff has every detail accounted for from knowing dietary restrictions of the guest to keeping the extra beer in the bottle on ice so that you get the best experience throughout your night. This restaurant is on the pricey side compared to other Indian restaurants, however it is definitely worth the money. The amount of times I have heard “this is the best (insert dish name) I have ever had” from the people I have taken to Tamba is crazy. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!"

"We ordered several items. Tandoori chicken was excellent. Afghani Paneer was good too, but missed the mark for full points. It was lacking the salt and coriander chutney. Daal makhni (kaali dal) was very good. Shahi paneer was okay. Quantity of both entrees was quite small. The server told us, one entree could be good for two people - definitely not true. One entree is only good for only one person. The veggie biryani was good, and came with some saalan, which went well with it. Garlic naan was pretty good. Among the desserts, we ordered the paan ice cream, which was decent. The rose kulfi while it was flavorful, the ice cream was completely melted, so missed the mark. Service was definitely very good. Server explained everything very well. And they cleaned the tables between each course - right on the mark. Of course this restaurant is on the pricier side. Service, ambience lives to to that mark. Some food items could be improved. Lastly, the menu is not huge."

"Everything we ate and drank was delicious, but what was most impressive was how much work both servers and the kitchen put in to letting me eat octopus while my spouse is allergic to everything that comes out of the sea. We all got to enjoy everything we ordered in an atmosphere that made the whole night feel like the celebration it was. Do be aware that it's difficult to see the signage when you're on the same side of the street as Tamba. It just looks like a door when the sun is reflecting off the front."
