"What a shame! We booked two months in advance (just as the online form opened). We were really looking forward to it, as we already knew Sushisamba from Singapore and loved it there. It was supposed to be a nice, cool meal, especially since it was also my birthday. Of course, my boyfriend mentioned this when making the reservation, but all I wanted was a relaxing evening. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was rather empty, and we were given a table right in the middle that was so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Are you serious?! Booking two months in advance and then getting something like that? We had actually planned to enjoy a bottle of wine, but in the end, it wasn't worth it amidst the chaos. Our waitress tried her best but had to ask everything twice, which was quite tiresome. The cocktails and the food were great! Kudos to the kitchen! We had the five-course menu, which was a bit too much for us. After dessert, after we had asked for the bill and were already up, a cake with "Happy Birthday" on it arrived. The gesture was nice, and two other people around us also had birthdays; their cakes arrived with dessert, and ours arrived when we got up. We find it outrageous; when you spend $400, you can expect something. We therefore wouldn't come back and won't recommend it! What a shame!"
