Smith & Kings

"Smith and Kings has a nice atmosphere to it. Being in the heart of Chinatown, we really enjoyed the fact that the original building still retains that olde town feel, without actually feeling old. We stopped in for brunch with some friends. I had the classic breakfast with bacon, eggs, grits, and a biscuit paired with the iced whiskey coffee, and my wife had the blueberry French toast combined with lychee refresher. Service was OK, but we didn't see our waitress very often and drinks were a touch on the slow side. Afterwards, we strolled through Chinatown looking at slabs of fish sitting on ice. It was fantastic."

"I caught the happy hour at Smith & Kings the other afternoon and had a nice time while we waited out a downpour of rain. The happy hour prices and offerings are excellent! We had several drinks and beers plus food. As far as the food goes the poutine and wings were okay, the sliders were better and I'd even go so far as to say that the regular hand cut french fries are some of the best I've had anywhere in Honolulu!"
