"A family reunion brought me and the spouse to the SideBar event hall, which I believe is owned or run by the military (receipts from the bar read National Guard). Located near HNL, parking is limited, but a gravel lot just across the street (next to the fire station) handled the overflow. The building’s exterior is very nondescript and has no windows. The inside was cool and clean, with a permanent bar on one end and ample, flat floor space for multiple seating configurations the rest of the way. No sound system seemed to be available. Restrooms were also clean and located just behind the main facility. OVERALL: Centrally located with easy access to the H1 freeway."
