"This is a very good bistro. I know they count themselves a steak house but with no linens, no baked potato, no Caesar salad, this can't be a steak house. Also the ambiance doesn't show itself as a steak house. Nonetheless, it's a nice restaurant. The service is very good and hit or miss, except the manager who can be less than approachable and parks his "office" in one of the prime table spots which is visible as soon as you walk into the restaurant. Doesn't present well, makes the restaurant feel more like an expensive diner. The ribeye was melt in your mouth perfection. The salad crisp and light. The beets with that cream...that cream...so delicious 😋. The baked leeks with a very salt forward cream sauce served with fresh baked bread was amazing. I have to mention the basque cheesecake. Exquisite! In my experience most basque cheesecake is dry and overcooked. This one is fantastic 😍. Not an inexpensive restaurant. Is it worth it? Well, it's delicious and good service. The ambiance could use some warmth. We'll be back because we live close though wouldn't go out of our way to go here."

"Had the salmon and hanger steak. Mix of sides. Salmon meat was good but it was skin on and the skin could have been more crisp. The steak was very flavourful and tender. Fries were okay. Average frozen Sysco type. Overall I enjoyed it and the vibe. It's in an old house, I assume."
