"We came to Midnight Oil on a Tuesday night for the Dance Music Initiative night. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. They really made us feel welcome and part of the experience. The place itself is thoughtfully, intentionally designed and decorated, and the speakeasy is so fun! And OMG THE FOOD. We just got apps this time - the shrimp ceviche dish and the chicken bulgogi. OMG. SO good. 🤤 I'm literally getting hungry right now just thinking about it. The drinks were also delicious and everything, food and drinks, were reasonably priced. I didn't feel gouged at all. In fact, the reasonable prices made me want to order MORE. It was also my birthday as well as another guest, so we got to ring the gong, which was so fun and special. All in all, this isn't just a restaurant to go eat at; it's a place to fund community. DEFINITELY support this business! Note: there is public parking on the same block behind this business. It's locked in with gates, so you and your car have added layers of security. It's expensive - $7/hr - but your car will more likely be there and unharmed when you return. There's a pedestrian exit right onto the street close to the restaurant's entrance."
