"Update: still live around the corner, but i don't know anyone who eats here anymore. The menu and quality of the food got so bad that i had 2-3 meals i just couldn't eat, idk if they fired a chef or just the owner lost his mind and went on a cost cutting crusade as part of their expansion of the dining area, but the food is way more expensive and the options available and quality of the food have gone down much more than that. I was still coming by for soups sometimes for a bit, but those aren't even good anymore to me. I really miss this place. Maybe the owners will restore it to a state i'd consider visiting again before i die. It's important to have dreams... Original (5 star) review from 4ish years prior: Really excellent food, and the margaritas are killer. Well worth the price, which is on the lower end of par for the neighborhood (~15$ for one person) Definitely check out their happy hour."

"I stopped by late in the evening and only ordered the churros for dessert. The service was great—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The staff made me feel comfortable even though I came in close to closing time, and I have nothing negative to say about the customer service. For the churros, they were a bit disappointing. The texture suggested they may not have been freshly made. Instead of having a crisp outer layer, it was slightly soft and soggy, blending into the inside. Because of that, the texture was the biggest drawback of the dish. However, the sugar coating was well-balanced and not overly sweet, and it paired nicely with the chocolate dipping sauce."
