"I was excited to try this place for months since it’s always popping up when I search for a coffee or matcha place. When I walked in i went and sat at the bar top and the bartenders was speaking/helping a couple at the end of the bar, it seems like they were maybe friends cause they were chit chatting for a minute which I was honestly perfectly fine with. I’ve ran into friends while working and catching up for a sec is cool with me especially when you’re a bartender! :) The issue I had was the fact that after 5-10 minutes pass and they’re still talking to the same a couple and I still was not greeted yet. They in fact made eye contact with me plenty of times and just stared at me. Another associate also comes behind the bar and is playing with a tech deck, which I literally would not have an issue with IF I was greeted or helped or anything 😂 I do look young so maybe they thought I was underage…? I’m not but I never got carded so? If it was busier I would understand but it was pretty chill inside. I wanted to like this place so bad but I got so annoyed after 10 minutes I just grabbed my stuff and went to the bar downstairs instead :/. This was Friday evening"

"Staff are very kind and their London fog and matcha are great, but often they are playing music dropping misogynistic slurs constantly in the lyrics and racial slurs too. It's disturbing to listen to on a relatively loud volume. Especially since most people come here to study. It's not appropriate."
