Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

"Carolina was an awesome server!"

"My boyfriend and I come here all the time, typically every weekend, for brunch/lunch. Today was probably the most disappointing time we’ve had. After our server Jade brought our drinks and took our order we almost never saw her again until almost completely done with our food. It seemed she was more concerned with the large party she had rather than the other tables she also had. Our appetizer of bacon candy never came so when someone (not our server) dropped off our food we had to mention it hadn’t come since our server never checked in on us to see if we received it. It came out plain on a plate and not in its usual tin with garnishes so I could tell it was a rushed ask. We were basically done with our food when she asked if everything tasted fine, it did and at that point it wasn’t worth mention our appetizer came after our food. I asked for a box while my boyfriend finished his soup and she automatically brought the electronic check device without asking if we had wanted dessert or if we were ready for the check. I had a $10 off card I had received from a prior visit that I would’ve given to her before she brought the check had she asked if we were ready for it, when I handed it to her she huffed and went to get a manager to apply it. It ended up being applied wrong and only took off $5. I assume this wasn’t her fault but I had to ask a different server if they could grab a manager for me since she basically disappeared after dropping the check. He said it was his fault and went to fix it. Overall I really like the food here but I feel if a server has such a large party, they maybe shouldn’t have a bunch of other tables in addition to it, otherwise people start getting ignored and have a bad experience. We’ll likely come back but will probably request to sit at the bar or with another server."

"I would give this place half a star if I could. The name of the restaurant fits the menu- lazy. Some items sounded like they were just thrown together. Didn’t taste very well either. Will not be returning. If you are visiting Vegas- avoid this place."
