"Delicious food, great *strong* drinks & amazing service. Our server Bobby was so passionate about the food and did an amazing job at encouraging us to try something new. The spaghetti was so simple yet flavorful, the chicken was juicy & well balanced but the real star of the show were the mushrooms. Great experience all in all."

"By far, my favorite restaurant in the west village! I have been coming here for the last 2 years and it never misses. Holidays, last minute dinners, celebrations, comfort meals, pasta, steak, this place is the spot. The food is always so good, I have tried so many things, even things I wouldn’t usually order and I have never not liked a dish. They do everything really well, drinks & desert included. Every server I have had has taken great care of us and been so kind and welcoming, the front desk team is also absolutely amazing! Cannot recommend L’artusi enough and I highly recommend the hanger steak and any of the pastas, my go to’s are the vongole and cacio e Pepe."

"L'Artusi is named for Pellegrino Artusi, (1820-1911) and his self-published cookbook La Scienza in Cucina e L'Arte di Mangiare Bene (The Science of Cookery and the Art of Eating Well). This place has been in West Village for over 20 years. Tough getting reservations as a very popular spot. We did not have a reservation and they accommodated us giving me the sign this restaurant knows the art of hospitality which starts even before you sit down. The service was friendly, attentive and not pretentious. Last, but not least, the food is well prepared. The pasta is not over cooked and the sauce and spices do not overwhelm the dish...well done."
