"This place is the worst! We will never be back! Stopped by on a Saturday night and was seated right outside the kids arcade. Huge mistake, because parents brought their kids there after league sports. Throughout our ENTIRE dinner kids were literally running and yelling and screaming as they were going back and forth from the table to the arcade. Shame on the parents for allowing their kids to behave as if they were on a playground. Did the staff/management say something to these parents? It didn’t seem like it but who knows. That was an evening ruiner in itself but then came the food. Burger didn’t taste like real meat…. I’m assuming it was some sort of Sysco meat patty with a certain percentage of filler. The chicken wings were almost inedible because they were so overcooked that they had dried out horribly, also probably Sysco. The food was just very very bad. Skip this place, definitely not worth it."

"I’ve been to Karl Strauss several times now , just my wife and I, and also with a group of buddies , and this place works perfectly for both. The food is consistently great and reasonably priced, which makes it an easy go‑to spot. The patio is a really nice feature, especially on a warm evening, and they’ve got some solid house beers that pair well with pretty much anything on the menu. If you can swing it, try getting there for happy hour , it’s a seriously good bargain. Definitely a spot worth checking out."
