"My wife and I recently dined at your restaurant, a place we have always held in high regard and looked forward to visiting. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing and did not come close to meeting the standards we have come to expect. I ordered the stone crabs as an appetizer — your signature dish — and was unable to extract any crab meat whatsoever. The crabs were frozen solid, causing the shells to shatter into pieces with every attempt. I eventually gave up entirely and went without the appetizer I had been looking forward to. My wife ordered the chicken, which arrived bland and flavorless. The sweet potato was burnt on the bottom, and the praline pecan butter had no discernible taste at all. It was a thoroughly disappointing meal from start to finish. When we raised these concerns with the manager on duty, he was wholly unaccommodating and dismissive of our complain. We left the restaurant unhappy and feeling that the experience was completely inconsistent with the prices you charge. We have always been loyal guests but we feel the kitchen and quality control fell well short of what is acceptable."
