Jive Turkey

"Updating my review from last year. Jive Turkey is a vibe. The food is light years beyond what you would expect from a neighborhood bar (the fries are top-tier), the beverages are crafted with an expertise of people who you know instantly have been in the industry as a lifetime commitment, not just passing through. The atmosphere can shift from intensely busy to quiet and chill on a moment's notice, just depending on what groups are going through and when. The aesthetic of a pool/darts lounge area separated from the bar by an open-air atrium is superb. It lets the visitor shift the mood as they need. It's a locals bar with attention to detail that visitors have no idea on what they're missing. They can keep downtown and the Strip, Jive Turkey is where I'm going."

"This place is definitely not for everyone, but that's what makes it great. Full transparency, I did not eat the Jive Turkey menu. I was there during a pop up, featuring Ada's wine bar. The bar is described as a dive bar with a shady staff. I think a better adjective is cantankerous, but also hilarious!!!"
