"Update: The review is the same! This place is consistently great, and my favorite brunch place as a vegetarian / pescatarian. I'm very impressed that it's the same post-COVID as before. They were closed down a looong time during the pandemic, but sure worth the wait when they reopened. This is the kind of place you don't want to review because you want to keep it to yourself, but they've earned the five stars. Seattle gem. Prior review 9 years ago: My default brunch spot. Hearty and interesting vegetarian breakfast options. Consistently delicious. Service is always great (same two awesome ladies) and cocktails are very good. For veg, I recommend huevos rancheros, chicken fried veggie steak, or breakfast tacos."

"Stopped in for breakfast and was disappointed. I love chicken fried steak and try it whereever I can; sorry I tried it this morning. Hash browns were soggy and greasy, soaked in orange "chorizo oil". Chicken fried steak was apparently cooked in the same grease. Tated as bad as the hashbrowns, and was also tough. Waitress was nice, and took it off the bill."

"Wide menu selection for breakfast and lunch. Tried BELT sandwich, Cobb salad, shrimp and grits-all good, well presented and generous portions. Service friendly and attentive. Did not feel rushed to turn table even though restaurant was full. Good experience."
