"We had a very frustrating and confusing experience here. Earlier, we tried to reserve an outdoor sofa and were told multiple times that reservations are not accepted for Fridays — and that we could come in and sit if something was available. So we did exactly that. When we arrived, we saw an empty outdoor sofa and sat down. Shortly after, we were told we had to leave because the table was “reserved” — which directly contradicts what we had been told before. We didn’t argue and moved on. Then another sofa became available, and we sat there — only to be approached again and told this time that children are not allowed in that area. This policy had never been mentioned to us before, and there was no clear signage indicating it. Then a manager (Ruth) came over and told us again that we had to leave because the table was reserved for a large group. At that point, it felt less like a misunderstanding and more like we were being pushed out without any clear or consistent explanation. Every staff member told us something different: * “No reservations” * “This table is reserved” * “Kids are not allowed here” (not previously communicated) We were simply trying to follow the instructions we were given. What made the situation even worse is that we were there with our children, and the way this was handled — repeatedly asking us to leave without clear explanation — upset them to the point that they started crying. That’s not something any family expects when coming out for a meal. The lack of coordination between staff, unclear policies, and the way this was handled made the experience extremely uncomfortable. We ended up leaving without being seated. I strongly recommend the restaurant clarifies its policies and ensures staff are aligned — because right now, the guest experience feels chaotic and unwelcoming."
