Hau Tree

"My husband made a reservation for dinner at Hau Tree, and I was genuinely excited to visit after seeing so many great reviews and videos online. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We arrived on time for our reservation, only to be seated at a bar table where the sun was hitting us directly. It was extremely uncomfortable. I was wearing a dress, and by the end of our meal my shoulders were literally hot and sunburned from sitting there. When we noticed there were several empty tables in the patio area, we politely asked if it would be possible to move. The host, Syriah, told us she would let us know if something became available due to a cancellation, which we completely understood and respected. However, after we had already ordered drinks and appetizers, another couple was seated next to us in the same bar area. They also complained about the direct sunlight, and almost immediately they were moved to a patio table. This was very frustrating because we had arrived first and expressed the exact same concern. It left us wondering why their request was accommodated while ours was not. The inconsistency in how guests are treated was disappointing and made us feel overlooked. Perhaps they were filming content, perhaps not, but the point is that every guest should receive the same level of consideration and service. As for the food, it was okay, but nothing exceptional. There are plenty of restaurants with comparable food that provide much better hospitality and make all guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend Hau Tree."

"ハワイ滞在中の朝食で利用しました。ワイキキの賑やかなエリアから少し離れた落ち着いた雰囲気で、まさにリゾートらしい時間を過ごせる素敵なお店です。 店内に入ると目の前には青い海と白い砂浜が広がり、大きなハウツリーが南国らしい雰囲気を演出してくれます。テラス席からの景色は本当に素晴らしく、食事を待つ時間さえ特別な思い出になりました。 今回は家族で利用しましたが、子ども向けのメニューもあり、スタッフの方も親切で安心して過ごせました。フルーツはとても新鮮で、料理も見た目が美しく味も大満足。ゆったりとした空気の中で朝食を楽しめるのはハワイならではだと思います。 景色、雰囲気、料理のどれを取っても満足度が高く、ハワイに来たらまた訪れたいお気に入りのお店になりました。特別な朝を過ごしたい方にはぜひおすすめしたいレストランです。"
