Granger Hotel San Diego Downtown

"Don’t stay here. Rooms are literally over-priced postage stamps. 6 hangers in a tiny armoire and no drawers or any other place to put ur clothes. And i had a higher priced corner room. 200 sq ft. Have to live out of my suitcase which ill put on one side of my king bed becuz there are no luggage stands. Andno place to sit and work. And u pay full for 3 nights before u can change hotels. Ambassador elite status gets u nothing but attitude. The free snacks are a ploy to hope forgive the utter lack of basics besides a bed and a toilet this place offers. So many better Marriott properties downtown. Run away!"

"You will not get your elite nights and points !!!! I stayed may 17-21. I was in a group of 9 with 9 different rooms. No one so far has received their points or elite nights. They directly lie to you and say at check in it takes 10 business days. They also say it’ll show on your bonvoy app 24 hrs after check in and it never did. The hotel is awesome. Service amazing. Rooms pretty good but nowhere to set your things. FYI. It is unfortunate that when you google “anyone not get their points or elite nights at granger?” It’s all over Reddit and the internet and most people give up. Not sure what more I can do. So dumb to choose a Marriott to maintain hotel status and not get these things."

"Its a very centrally located hotel. Most of the downtown touristy places and good restaurants are within a 10-20 min walk from here. The hotel rooms are small. So, that can be an issue if multiple people are staying together. Each floor has a coffee/snacks station. The rooms are very colorful, and so is everything in the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here for proximity to the downtown, especially if you don’t have a car."
