"A staple of oak harbor"
"Dining alone around 4 pm Tuesday, so slow business at the time. Hostess seated me in the bar. I remarked "I guess this is quiet enough," & she said "I'm sorry" (as if she had no choice) as she turned her back to me and walked away. Waiter inquired about my drink. He brought water, chips, 2 salsas, and took my order. He brought my order and never once came back to my table. That was it. He took forever to make 2 drinks. It wasn't until I covered the plate with my napkin and set my card on the table that he finally came to the table. Only then was there an inquiry about my meal (carne asada plate was good, & I'm visiting from San Antonio). This reinforces my "I need to stay out of the bar area" thinking. The food was good enough for Mexican food north of Dallas, so I will return. But, I won't let them seat me in the bar again."
"Mexican food is Mexican food"
