Claim Jumper & Steakhouse - San Bernardino, CA

"I am new to the Claim Jumper in my area. Though I have gone 4 times now, before that it had probably been over 30 years. At first I thought their happy hour deals were great. Then I realized, if you come on slow days, you get sub par service. The servers and bussers stand around talking to each other, while overcharging. Due to this, and the server not checking the check before dropping it, I was overcharged by 5$. Did she give the $5 back to me in cash, (even though I used a cc,) yes, but I was a server for many years, and what I got was inadequate service. Also, the big flashing neon sign says that if I hadn't looked, I would have been OVERCHARGED by 5$. Money is tight right now for MOST people. Socialize on your breaks, or after work please. I have already found somewhere with far better service. It's just a shame.😥"

"The server was awesome, but out of 9 people, no one liked their food. All the steaks were not cooked correctly. The potato soup was thick and more like potato salad. The food is way to expensive for not good quality food. We will not be back."

"I was extremely disappointed visiting this place. I hadn't been back here in a few years, this used to be a regular Sunday place for my family and me but I moved away. I went back today and was excited to have a steak and it was just terrible. Like they got it out of the fridge ran it through water and through it on the flat top . No flavor what so ever it almost tasted literally like they boiled it and then slightly seared it . No salt,no pepper No seasoning at all!! We also order ribs and the same thing no flavor. Luckily my daughter's tenders and fries were okay and the mashed potatoes were not bad either but other than that everything else was just gross. The server was really polite he was on top of our drinks, very attentive."
