"Beware! Canteen brewery has a “open tab” Policy That charges 18% of your tab if you fail to close it out. However, in my case, I ordered a sandwich for Take Out, I believe the waitress opened my order under “open tab”, I paid for my sandwich and left. Five hours later, I got a charge on my credit card For 18% of the cost of my sandwich, I did not authorize a tip for my take out order. I called The establishment and they reimbursed the 18% tip. If you go there, be sure to close out your tab before you leave. This is the first time this has ever happened to me In my life. Be very careful When using your charge card Anywhere."
