"Following the Michelin Guide, and left disappointed. Perhaps the recommendation raised our expectations too high — but either way, the experience didn't deliver. We came for lunch on a weekend and were seated directly next to a large family party of 15–20 people celebrating Mother's Day. Loud, lively, lots of children — not exactly conducive to a relaxed meal or conversation, and any sense of ambiance was gone from the start. We ordered two pizzas to get a feel for the menu. They were mediocre at best — the dough dry and hard, most likely overcooked, closer to a dried-out cracker than a proper crust. We had to specifically ask for olive oil; spicy olive oil wasn't available at all. After that, we had no appetite to explore the rest of the menu. The mains may well be better — but an Italian restaurant has to be able to make a decent pizza. This one couldn't, at least on the day we visited. We don't plan to return. In the greater Los Angeles area, there are far worthier options."

"The asparagus was extremely dry, the pizza was burnt, overall the food was not good. We couldn’t finish it and didn’t want to bring any with us. What made the experience even worse was the service. They brought us the check without asking and rushed us to leave the table. It was not a pleasant dining experience, and I did not appreciate being hurried out before we were ready. Overall, I would not return."
