Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Stone Oak

"We had a pretty disappointing experience at this theatre. We were in Theatre 1, but the sound from Theatre 2 kept bleeding into our movie. The audio from the neighboring theatre was so loud that it actually shook our seats, making it difficult to focus on or enjoy the movie we came to see. It was honestly one of the worst audio experiences I’ve ever had in a movie theatre. We understand that some sound can carry between theatres, but this was excessive and really took away from the overall experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning."

"Coming from El Paso (military) we usually go to Flix Brewhouse, but now living in Stone Oak, we tried Alamo drafthouse. And now I understand why all of the Alamo Drafthouse locations went out of business in El Paso. This theater was completely run down. The seats are gross and peeling, some either didnt recline or were stuck in a reclining position, my cup holder was completely missing (it was just a hole that fell into the seat), the lights under tables are extremely bright and distracting from the movie, and the movie theater smelled bad, like old, mildew and run down. But what made the experience absolutely terrible was the lack of service. All the other shortcomings may have been forgiven if we actually had ANY customer service of ANY KIND. But no. Everything is done on your phone while they also expect you to stay off your phone during the movie. I had questions about the menu but since no one is around to take your order nothing could be answered. My popcorn was cold, soda watered down, and my wrap didnt come with fries (for $20 I would expect fries). No one even checked our tickets, so what's stopping someone from just walking in off the street without paying? Plus they tack on an extra 18% gratuity fee...for what?! I even had to get my own to go container. You guys didnt do anything!! At flix you have someone greeting you, checking tickets, taking your order, answering questions, and handing you your bill at the end. I think I will continue to go to Palladium and/or Flix Brewhouse from now on. I'd rather drive the 30 minutes than go back here. Edit: I do not need to email you, you have numerous comments complaining about the same thing that you have replied to. So, FIX IT!! Until then my business will be taken elsewhere."
