"Eric super amable!!"

"I was pretty disappointed after visiting Abuela’s Tacos. I had searched for the best fish tacos in South Beach and found several articles mentioning this place as an award winner from 2024, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the fish tacos didn’t live up to the hype. The fish arrived a little overcooked, dry, and slightly burnt. The tortillas tasted like standard store-bought tortillas rather than something made fresh in-house, which was surprising for a taco restaurant. The rice and beans were also underwhelming, with parts of them being noticeably crunchy. Overall, the fish tacos reminded me more of something you’d get at a chain restaurant than a destination taco spot in Miami. The drink menu was also very basic and didn’t offer much that stood out from countless other places in South Beach. The cocktails tasted weak, and even a bottled Modelo was $10. The service was fine, but based on the awards, reviews, and the walk it took to get there, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the hype for me."
